S.A.F.E. System I Scout Hollow Handle Survival Knife
S.A.F.E. System I Scout Hollow Handle Survival Knife
The S.A.F.E. System I (Survival Adventure Field & Exploration) knife is designed to be a truly useful and functional hollow handle survival knife. We all love sawteeth and two-tone paint jobs, but the S.A.F.E. Knife is designed to be functional, first and foremost. Based on a custom design by Sam Wilson dating back to 2015, it is a design that has been tested and proven to work as a legit field knife. Now the mid-tech version is available and 100% Made in the U.S.A.
The "Scout" version of the knife is similar to the Scout P.A.C.K.Lite. It features hard anodized (significantly more wear resistant than standard ano) on the guard, handle and buttcap, a beautiful satin blade surface ground on the flats, a cord wrapped handle (approximately 20 feet of cordage), a light knurl on the handle, and a quality button compass in the buttcap. Other finishes and sheath configurations are available in the Custom Shop, but the Scout version is the standard and what will be stocked most regularly. Other than finishes and sheath options, the actual knife is the same.
